New generations bring new challenges. It’s our responsibility to stay in tune with the needs of a new era and elevate our practices to meet those needs. This is the core mission of this project: creating an effective tool that meets the expectations of the new generation. The Olympic Club of Kelibia (COK) is a volleyball club and youth academy founded in 1957, with a strong reputation ever since. Its mission and commitment to the community have evolved over time. To maintain this good reputation, both locally and nationally, it became necessary to mentor new generations.
This, of course, brings its challenges. One of the major challenges was the organization of academy membership and attendance. With more than 300 children, managing the groups using traditional methods had become increasingly difficult. This is where the need for a digital platform arose.


COK approached Riverbyte with the need for a user-friendly platform to help manage attendance, membership, and payments for all academy members. Their main challenges included staying up-to-date with payments, saving time during sessions, being alerted when a child missed a session, and having easy access to all members’ contact information when needed. Riverbyte's mission was to streamline the management of coaching sessions, allowing coaches to focus on volleyball rather than worrying about safety and attendance, while also building greater trust with parents. Additionally, the platform would assist the administration in better tracking payments. The digital platform was delivered with the presence of the coaches, children, and administration members. It featured an authentication system to recognize existing members, along with a QR code for identification. Coaches could simply scan the QR code to access relevant information about the child, session details (time, date, duration), and other necessary data. The platform was user-friendly and adaptable across devices, requiring little to no training. Within hours, all the information was uploaded and updated, and the team members were well-informed and ready to use the system. With this new system in place, COK is now equipped to efficiently manage its operations, ensuring a smoother experience for coaches, parents, and the children, while promoting continued growth and success for the club.
